1. General
You will receive an email confirmation once we receive your order, confirming your chosen product(s) and a break down of the costs. If you notice anything wrong in your order, such as quantities or the delivery address, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us straight away at hello@theyellowwindmill.co.uk, or through our Contact Us page.
We will always do our utmost to ensure your order reaches you within the stated delivery times, however please note there are rare occasions where factors outside our control can affect delivery, such as Royal Mail delays.
If you suspect a lost delivery, please contact us quoting your order number and we will look into it for you. Please note if your order doesn’t fit through the letterbox and there is no one in to receive it, Royal Mail should leave you a calling card letting you know that a delivery has been attempted and how to rearrange delivery or collect your item.

2. Standard Delivery
Standard delivery is by Royal Mail 2nd Class and generally takes 2-4 working days, including Saturdays, unless indicated otherwise on the product page. This includes the amount of time it takes for us to carefully package your order, plus the time it takes to reach you.
If you order multiple items to the same address, we will combine them in the same package where possible. The total cost of postage will be calculated according to the table below.

Please note all delivery times stated are for orders placed by 2pm Monday – Friday (excluding public holidays in England).
3. Returns and Refunds
We very much hope that you will be delighted with any product(s) you order from us, but you do have 14 days from receipt to contact us if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item. You can do this via email at hello@theyellowwindmill.co.uk or through our Contact Us page.
After contacting us, you will have 14 days to return goods in an unused state complete with any packaging and we will refund you the amount paid for your order. The cost of the return is your responsibility, except if the item is faulty. We cannot be held responsible for packages lost in transit so we recommend sending any returns by a tracked delivery service.
In the unlikely event that you receive an incorrect or damaged order, please get in touch with us and we will be more than happy to provide a resolution at no extra cost to you.
4. Claiming Loss of Delivery
If you have not received your item within the estimated delivery times as stated above (UK: 2-4 days), please contact us straight away on hello@theyellowwindmill.co.uk or through our ‘Contact Us’ page. If the item has not arrived within 2 weeks of the estimated delivery time, we will happily send a replacement at our cost.
